Novotel Imagica: Hotel Review

My stay at Novotel Imagica will always be special. I love Imagica and everything about it. So when I got an opportunity to stay at Novotel and tour Imagica for two days from Condé Nast Traveller, I was elated. I had so much fun in these two days; it is one of my best trips.

Location

The stay at Novotel made the exprecience convenient and memorable. You get pick up and drops to and from the theme park whenever you want. It is located within walking distance of Imagica. Khopoli railway station is 20 km away. Imagica provides car pick up and drop facility to and from Khopoli railway station. You can ask for the facility while booking your trip.

The Parade

Imagica holds a parade everyday at 6 p.m. of all the Imagical characters viz. Tubby, Mr India, Mogambo, Detective Bow Wow, Snow White and so on. They don’t have the parade in the monsoon on account of the rains. As my trip was in July, I thought I would miss the parade. But to my surprise, Novotel organises a parade everyday at around 10 a.m. It is the sweetest thing when all the Imagical characters sing and dance all around you while having breakfast. They are also happy to pose with you for a selfie :). I loved it the parade so much that I made a video of the entire experience.

Food

The food is good. They have a great buffet for breakfast and dinner with all types of cuisine served in their huge banquet room. I especially savoured their desserts. For alcohol drinkers, they have the Nitro Bar, named after the thrilling roller-coaster at Imagica.

Rooms

Rooms are clean and comfortable. They provide you with a coffee machine,mini-refrigerator, safety locker, and chocolates within the room. You can view the picturesque hills from the room. Their bathrooms are also hygienic and equipped with a hair dryer, toothpastes, toothbrushes, soaps, shampoo, dry towels, bath robe, etc.

Staff

The hotel staff is hospitable and cooperative. They are always on their feet to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They have 24×7 concierge and room service.

Shopping

They have shops selling products with Imagica branding. You get t-shirts, bags, bottles, key chains and other Imagica merchandise at reasonable prices. I bought a poncho for Rs. 200 only.
