5 Photography Ideas for Ganpati Photography (Ganesh Chaturthi Photography)

Today I am going to try some cool photography ideas and techniques for my Ganpati photography. You may try them for any genre of photography. And now let us start photographing Ganpati Bappa creatively.

1. Intentional Motion Blur

In this technique, I intentionally move my camera to blur the image. To create a motion effect, I set a long shutter speed (about a ½-second to 1/8-second) and move the camera while the shutter is open. I can move the camera side-to-side or up or down. I can spin the camera around.

2. Light Painting

Mount your camera on a tripod and set your shutter speed to 30 seconds or bulb mode. While the shutter is open, move a light source through the frame to draw Ganpati Bappa or around an idol of Ganpati Bappa.

3. Alternative Filters

Photographing through alternative filters will create unique effects in your images. Your filters can be warped glass, a plastic bottle, or flowing water.

4. Double Exposure

Double exposure is layering two images. Layer a landscape or cityscape over a close-up of Ganpati Bappa. Double exposures can add texture to a picture or add to the story.

5. Mirroring

I used the mirroring technique with my mobile phone to create a unique reflection. This creates a world that doesn’t exist in reality. You can also copy the image in Photoshop and flip the copy vertically.

Ganesh Chaturthi is the best time for some cool photography. I hope you liked my Ganpati photos.
