Unique Perspective Photography at Bandra Worli Sea Link from Shivaji Park, Mumbai

The Bandra Worli Sea Link in Mumbai not only connects two different parts of the city, Bandra in the Western Suburbs with Worli in South Mumbai, but also connects my brain cells to my camera.

I recently went for some cool street photography of the Bandra Worli Sea Link at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. The Sea Link is so photogenic; it makes the entire landmark lively and picturesque. The challenge of this bout of photography was to have the Sea Link visible in every photograph through different frames, perspectives, and techniques. So thinking caps on; let the photography begin!

Slow shutter speed of 30 seconds – I attached my 10-stop ND filter and captured this long exposure photograph.

Feeling lonely in the city – Although there was a lot of crowd at the beach, I was able to isolate this man.

Another stressed out Mumbaikar! – It’s not just the people who may be stressed by the hustle and bustle of the big city…

Love is in the city – I found this heart shape drawn in the sand. So I waited for a couple to pass by and give me this photograph. I like how their feet are moving in sync.

Selfie with my city – The place is flooded with people clicking selfies with the Sea Link in the background.

Risks for a photograph – I snapped these 2 boys going in the Restricted Section to pose for a photograph.

Selling love – I followed this vendor all over the place. He was approaching almost every couple seated there and trying to strike a conversation.

Slow shutter speed at golden hour – Witnessing the golden hour with the Sea Link is a sight for sore eyes!

Jumping Jack – There are many games and activities for children at the beach.

Spinning city – More games… but this time in slow shutter speed.

In between duty – Here is a lifeguard resting as there is no mishap around. (Btw this post is not sponsored by Shree Sai Krupa Panipuri & Samosawala… LOL!)

I took so many photos of the Sea Link. I can’t wait to click its pictures again. And I’m sure that each time I go, it will present a different perspective to me. I hope you liked my pictures guys. If you did, go click some pictures of your own of this magnificent bridge. You will not be disappointed.
