Navratri is celebrated to honour the victory of good over evil by Maa Durga. It spans over nine nights, with the tenth day celebrated as Dussehra. Some people worship Maa Durga at their homes and also visit Her temples. Mandals organise public celebrations by welcoming huge idols with beautiful decor.
Maa Durga resides in our hearts. But these mandals in Parel Lalbaug area bring out the cheer and grandeur of Navratri in the best way.
