High-Speed Photography with Nikon Coolpix B500 (Nikon B500 Fast Shutter Speed)

I have got a lot of comments on my posts that you are not able to get sharp images with your Nikon Coolpix B500. That the images turn out to be very blurry especially if they are clicked indoors in ambient light. So let us push our limits and test this camera Nikon Coolpix B500 and only click high-speed action shots. So let us begin.

Settings – I will use the Auto mode. Then go to the menu and set the ISO the least 125. Focus will be Manual. AF Mode will be Pre-focus. I will turn on the flash and cover the flash with a piece of white paper so that the flashlight spreads more evenly.

I have my B500 set on a tripod. I have placed my subject on a backdrop of black cloth which I have taped to the wall. I will take this lemon and drop it into the bowl of water and as soon as it drops, click the splash.
Now in the same backdrop, I have a glass and I will slowly pour water into it and click.
I have some green peas, you can use any subject guys. Just drop them in the water and capture the splash.
Birds are quite fast. For birds, my flash will be off obviously and I will set my ISO to 125 to 400, so that the camera shakes less.
Waterfalls sure are high-speed.

I hope you liked my blog. Do let me know your suggestions and thoughts in the comments section. Thank you!
